MALTBY MPC FORGED IRON HEADS
MALTBY MPC FORGED IRON HEADS
From the leader in Forged Iron design, the Maltby MPC Forged Irons combine the look and feel of a true players blade profile with a weight distribution “flow” that optimizes the mass and dimensional characteristics of each iron in the set. The progressive weighting moves the weight in two ways, on the back flange and in the undercut, to provide stability in the long irons and a solid feel throughout the set. The MPC irons are form forged from 8620 carbon steel, giving them the true carbon steel soft feel many players prefer. Everything about the design of the Maltby MPC iron set was geared towards making it the most forgiving, most solid and most stable set of carbon steel, blade profile irons available.

- Saturday, August 16, 2008 Awesome Feel Reviewed By: One4Pars (Spencerville, OH) I actually went to the Golfworks to try the Toski T-54 and hit all 4 of the Maltby Forged Clubs heads. The MPC Forged is by far the best feeling club I have hit. While I was there I bought the 8,9,PW to try them in "Game" situations and plan to buy the rest of the set this week. I hope they offer this club in their "M" grove with the new ruling for grooves making "U" grooves illegal soon.
- Monday, July 21, 2008 WOW! smooth Reviewed By: Ker (Riviera Beach, Florida) I decided to breakdown and try this head in a 4 iron thinking that if I can hit this with the small offset it has, then I believe I can hit the rest of them. I shafted this with FST 125 steel shaft. I aligned the shaft with the natural bend point at 12 oclock position. I then went out to the range and hit a few balls with it. It was like slicing thru butter! I am convinced enough to build the rest of my set and may even build a 3 iron. I like the combo of this head with the FST shaft because it gives me a nice high flight I need for a 4 iron. I can only imagine what the rest will be like. I already ordered a 5 iron and will order the 3-iron soon, since it will not be a difficult transition to hit the longer clubs.
- Sunday, June 29, 2008 Got the PW Reviewed By: Watch (Colorado Springs, CO) I got the PW. You know, when practicing, I hit a draw with that thing 140 yards. And when playing, I have to be careful not to knock a pitch through the green. It blows my mind how far I can hit the ball with that wedge. I just with I had used this model to build my entire set of irons.
